Senior Frontend Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface components using React.js concepts and workflows such as Redux, Flux, and Webpack.

You will also be responsible for profiling and improving front-end performance and documenting our front-end codebase. The ideal candidate will have experience building complex web applications and a strong understanding of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features using React.js
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Collaborate with product team and graphic designers
• Learn and understand user interactions
• Develop a flexible and well-structured front-end architecture
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git)
